As soon as you start your first game in AFK Journey you will find a simple character selector from which you will have to choose the main character with whom you will start your adventure. From here you can choose to guide the steps of warriors like Valen to take advantage of the qualities of this light bearer or, for example, of Antandra to squeeze the skills of a torturer equipped with a spear and a strong defensive shield.

Position your heroes in the setting with mastery

With a vertical orientation of the interface, AFK Journey will allow you to easily control the tactical development during battles. Using the mouse of your PC you will be able to deploy your heroes on hexagonal maps that will help you to compose balanced formations between attack and defense. Thus, during the turn-based fights, you will be in charge of sliding the cards of the characters on different areas of the arena to reduce the vital state of the opponents.

Leverages idle resource management

Although to progress through the story you will need to participate in the battles, while you will appreciate interesting dialogues between the characters, the title will continue to generate resources even when the game is open in the background. This way you will be able to perform other tasks on your computer without leaving the activity on AFK Journey.
